The goal of the Dave Katragadda’s Foundation is to provide for the well being of women, their children, and orphaned/abandoned children in India. The trust will identify needs and design and implement programs to support women and children (especially orphaned/abandoned children) to be socially and financially self-sustaining. The trust will raise awareness of the problems facing women and children through education and mass communication, as well as being engaged in activities for the preservation of mother earth especially protecting holy Ganges river and providing a safe and natural environment for India’s revered cows.

The first project of the trust focuses around the creation of a orphanage/sanctuary for some of the young souls who have come upon hard times. This orphanage we are planning to build for girls will be a beautiful haven where they will receive not only food and shelter, but also an education and training to help them become productive members of society. Further, they will receive guidance, support and love, empowering them to truly embody "The Divine Mother" rather than to fall victim to feelings of worthlessness.
The vast majority of abandoned and orphaned girls have also been raped and abused. Many have spent years living on the streets and in refugee centers. There, these divine lives are being both brutalized as well as ruined. The girls cannot envision a better future.
The orphanage project will take orphaned and abandoned girls (many of whom are currently living in refugee centers) from India and Nepal and bring them to a place where they will be both cared for as well as given the physical, emotional and spiritual springboards which will enable them to live lives that are full, productive and positive.
The girls will spend time, in addition to receiving a full education, on hands-on work to get them back in touch with Mother Nature and with their own healing/nurturing touch. Further, we will have a full vocational training program for them, as they get older, to teach them essential skills in the world (including computers, typing, sewing, nursing, etc.)

Dave Katragadda Innovative Trust Engineering College(KITE) of Professional Engineering Sciences is the brainchild of eminent entrepreneurs, educators and technocrats. It is located on a sprawling luscious green campus of approximately 32 acres in Shabad Mandal of Ranga Reddy district and is intended to be residential campus for staff, students and faculty. Gopal Reddy, who joined the College as the principal. Dr. Reddy, completed his Masters and Doctorate degrees from Texas Tech University and North Carolina State Universities respectively in USA. Subsequently, he spent approximately 27 years in various universities in USA as a faculty member and in various administrative capacities.

Introduction to its Genesis including its Registration Status A group of people committed to the cause of improving the cause of higher-education, have initiated the formation of a Trust through which a number of institutions can be supported. The aim is to start offering quality education broadening the scope so as to make the graduates adjust well in global scenario. The initial promoters have themselves gotton the benefit of good education and wish to contribute something back to the society in extending the hand further in connecting people to opportunities by empowering them through higher-education.

Devi Prasad Katragadda obtained his Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University and then his Maser’s degree from California. He is an accomplished investor and trader in the global markets. He has formed/ has invested in over a dozen technological companies. He has also contributed $1 mln to the Clinton Global Initiatives fund, and is a co-sponsor to the event of former U.S. president Bill Clinton delivering the key note address to Telugu Association of North America’s bi-annual event, TANA 2007.

Prakasarao Chalamcharla obtained his Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University and then his Maser’s degree in Business Administration. He served for over 30 years in a Public Enterprise, Hindustan Photo Films Manufacturing Company Ltd. He carries a substantial industrial and managerial experience with him. After taking a voluntary retirement, he directs several companies, most notably a couple of Infrastructure and Development companies.

Naren Rajan obtained his obtained Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Engineering, Maser’s degree in Management from University of Michigan. Growing up in the illustrious family that started the PSG group of academic institutions, he has immense knowledge of developing organizations. As a Trustee of the PSG group trust, he is a major contributor to the cause of educational excellence to the common man. He is also the Founder of Tristar Inc, a leading firm in Construction Industry.
